Dive into the exciting world of engineering and technology in this hands-on, faith-based experience designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. STEM Discovery is the perfect launching pad for young innovators. In this camp we will be teaching students how to become creators using professional-grade tools.
Over the course of the week, students will rotate through immersive modules in 3D Modeling, Coding, and Robotics. They won't just learn theory; they will apply it immediately. By the end of each day, every student will have designed, built, and presented a working prototype of their own creation.
What You Will Learn:
-
3D Design: Learn the fundamentals of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) using Onshape, the same software used by industry professionals to model parts and products.
-
Game Development: Master coding logic and create playable retro-style games using MakeCode Arcade.
-
Robotics Engineering: Explore mechanics and automation used by companies like Tesla to solve real-world problems.
-
Rapid Prototyping: Develop the ability to take an idea from a sketch to a physical, working model.
